OpenDX 4.3.0 NOTE: This binary release is intended for: RedHat Linux. Please use the correct installer for your Operating System. Compiled using: 1) ImageMagick 5.5.7, with new OpenDX compatible API. IM libraries are statically linked to avoid confusions with other versions of IM. 2) CDF 2.7 - Static library is linked. 3) NetCDF, and HDF libraries are statically linked. 4) MOTIF 2.2.2 from http://www.motifzone.net - note: there is a bug in OpenMotif that may produce error warnings about XtPopdown, please ignore these--they have been fixed in a later revision of OpenMotif. You must have XFree86 4.0.x with OpenGL exntension and/or Mesa OpenGL, MOTIF 2.2 or higher. OpenMotif is installed with a default Workstation install of RedHat Linux. If it is not installed on your system, please locate the RPM from your distribution and install it. To install, use your favorite rpm utility such as gnorpm or to install by hand at the command line as root, use: rpm -Uvh opendx-4.3.0-1.rh73.rpm or if you're getting dependency problems but want to try it anyway, try: rpm -Uvh --nodeps opendx-4.2.0-1-rh73.rpm Common questions: ----------------- Frequently, you may get a message similar to: SOCKET bufsize mismatch : rcv buffer (131070 262160). This is due to socket buffer demands of dx.
