Viewing the Contents by Hand

You can navigate the distribution as if it were a standard directory tree. Use your favorite text viewer to see the Readme.txt file in each directory. The following is a table that indicates the various file extensions and file types.

HTML format files read by a Web Browser

.gif

GIF format image

.mpg

MPEG animations

.wrl

VRML object files

.txt

standard ASCII text files

.comment

a text file that contains comments for corresponding files. For example, foobar.comment contains comments for foobar.*.
