You can navigate this distribution by hand (i.e. with cd, more, etc.), but it is designed to be viewed and navigated through a Web Browser (i.e. netscape, mosaic, etc). To begin the tour using mosaic, type
mosaic bonuspak.html
Note: AIX 3.2.5 requires PTF 422452, to use view this CD with a web browser. HP-UX 9.05 does not support the Rockridge extensions required to view this CD with a web browser.
It is not required that you be able to run Data Explorer to view the BonusPak. However, if you have an enabling key for Data Explorer (see Running DX From the BonusPak CD), then you will also be able to view and run many of the visual programs directly from your browser.
There are some MPEG movies on this CD. Many browsers do not have built-in support for playing these movies. http://www.geom.umn.edu/software/mpeg_play/ is one of many sites available which contains MPEG players and information on how to download and configure them.
