Sounds reasonable to me.  What do y'all think about MSVC project files?  It
requires a file in the root and separate files in each C/C++ source leaf.
Isn't there a way to handle it as a separate module in CVS.  Should they be
distributed in the source tarball, or some other way?

Oh dear benovalent dictator. Is it alright to add the rpm binary
distribution spec file to the root of the dx tree? Or would you
rather have it hosted on the web by OpenDX.org?
